It actually \u003cstrong\u003etastes like a German Lambrusco\u003c\/strong\u003e, and that was the goal from Alanna when making it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe reason is that Dornelder is a very fruity, but otherwise little unexiciting grape, not really favoured for serious wines. Alanna had the idea to make the best of it's fruity characteristic by turning it into a redpet nat.
