Winifred is a smooth, juicy and full-bodied rosé, which gets by with little alcohol and still has big flavours. The blend is 50% Welschriesling and 50% Gemischter Satz (a traditional Austrian field blend of Grüner Veltliner, Weissburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc and more). Most grapes are destemmed and ferment in open-top vats, with about 30% getting carbonic maceration. Everything blends into small oak barrels to finish ferment on gross lees for around 10 months. No temperature control. We're talking real energy.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFlavourwise, expect big red fruit, vanilla and even some black tea vibes. \u003c\/strong\u003e We think it's d\u003cspan\u003eelicious!
