The fruit comes from two plots on different soil types.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe whole bunches macerate for around two weeks before pressing, and the wine is then aged in 225L barrels. Native yeasts and no added sulphites. It sits at 11% alcohol. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have not yet tried this wine, but hear it has tangy red fruit, bright acidity and a graphite-like finish, and that 2023 is a standout vintage for this cuvée. Sounds like a perfect entry point to Mondeuse, and to Jean-Yves' reds in general.
