He also tells us why it is priced where it is: not because of any difference in quality or care, but because he wanted an entry level wine that people can actually afford to drink. Dane says it was a great season and the fruit came in at very high quality, which has given a very well balanced wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLong, steady ferments in 100% stainless steel with approximately 2 weeks on skins, then pressed and aged in stainless steel. It was racked only once before bottling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eTasting Notes for Fistful of Flowers 2024 by Momento Mori\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe entry level point to Momento Mori is really not as entry level as you think - this is an absolute banger from start to finish and actually one of our favourites!\u003cstrong\u003e There is an expressive whack of florals on the nose, with perfumed stone fruit, musk and spring blossoms alongside  BIG grapefruit.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003eThe palate is almost the opposite: fresh and pure, with a cool, s\u003cstrong\u003elatey steeliness, and a fine mineralic salinity holding it all together with more tropical aspects like passionfruit alongside lemon pith and even more grapefruit.\u003c\/strong\u003e All at a refreshingly low 10.5% alcohol.
