In regards to Natural Wine, Anjou, located in the Loire Valley region of France, is a renowned region home to many natural wine producers. Situated along the banks of the Loire River, this picturesque area benefits from a unique microclimate and diverse soil types, making it an ideal region for winemaking.
The region is home to an array of grape varieties, including Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Gamay. Chenin Blanc, in particular, thrives in Anjou's climate and is used to produce both still and sparkling wines. Cabernet Franc is also highly prized, producing vibrant red wines with notes of red fruits and spices.
