Calade Côtes du Rhône 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Mas de Libian, in the Rhône region in France. This soulful, more structured and serious red wine is made with a little 10% Grenache added to the 90% majority of Mouvèdre grapes, both sourced from very old vines on a rocky vineyard .

We have not yet tried this wine but hear from the producer it has an earthy, mushroom/truffle note alongside hits of dark chocolate and raspberries.

Vinification:  100% destemming. Light crushing. Regulation of fermentation temperatures. 15-day maceration. Gravity draining. Pneumatic pressing. Aging 25% in demi-muid (Stockinger) 25% in porcelain jar (biopytos), 25% in stoneware jar (clayver), 25% in stainless steel vats
