Unlike 2Naturkinder's usual raw and wild style, this Vater & Sohn wine has a more refined element to it, thanks to its mild filtration and small use of sulphur on bottling.

It's made in partnership with one of their fathers who is also a winemaker and run the plot before the current 2naturkinder owners Melanie Drese & Michael Völker took over the family business and started making natural wine with the vines instead.

 

The married couple behind 2Naturkinder feature a lot of bats on their labels, as they actually use bat dung from a nearby bat colony to fertilise their soil.
