Morgon Corcelette 2020 by Jean Foillard is a structured red wine made in the Cru village of Morgon with it's volcanic soils with 100% Gamay grapes.

This is a premium Gamay grown on 80 year old vines, reaching deep into sandstone soils rather than the Schist and Granite which Cote du Py is on. Whole cluster fermentation. Aged for 6-9 months in old oak barrels as well as a large foudre.

Meant to be somewhat lighter in texture yet still expressive.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

Some of the standout natural wine producers from Beaujolais include Jean Foillard, Clos Bateau, Domaine Lapierre, Guy Breton, Sebastien Morin, Thillardon and Metras.
