Horst Hummel is a German winemaker, based both in Berlin and also by his winery in Hungary, in the commune of Villány. Having started working organically, then biodynamically, Horst explored his passion for Kinesiology further and started applying techniques in his winemaking too.
The farm has been managed according to the rules of chemical-free viticulture since 2008. Since 2016, he has been using holistic preparations in the vineyards. Since 2020, the farm has been managed according to the rules of Natural Synergetic Winegrowing developed by Horst Hummel. He has even written a book about this, and this includes even playing frequencies to the wine barrels, to remove mouseyness in wine?!?!?
