Phillia by Ab Initio is an INSANE WINE made in Loire with Picpoule grapes, which is really a love it or hate it wine because it TASTES LIKE THE F*CKING SEA!!🌊 

We found it super intriguing, with notes of seaweed, ocean spray and even actual seawater. It would make for such an interesting pairing with fish, and totally unexpected to usual pairings!!! Quite niche, and not for the unadventurous! Very cool though

As for the production, this 2020 vintage of Picpoule aka Folle Blanche was grown on vines aged over 55 years on slate and schist and vinified in Qvevri Amphora for 12 months.
