Munjebel Rosso 2021 is a natural wine (although less so than previous years) crafted by Frank Cornelissen, on Mount Etna in the Sicily region in Italy.

This red wine is made with 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, and this is the entry level of his more serious wines before reaching the Cru level. Munjebel is a wine that has gone through a lot of evolution over the past decade, with Frank Cornelissen now opting for a less zero-zero approach and taking on use of sulphur and some filtration for his preferred style.

Whether these are the same wines are five years ago has caused debate, but a winemaker should be free to work the way they want. Personally, we are not as keen on this more modern style of Cornelissen's work, but of course everyone has different tastes.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
