Maquè is a good value, rustic natural wine crafted by Porta del Vento, in the Camporeale region of Sicily, in Italy. This red wine is made with both Nero d’Avola and Perricone grapes, so there are some noticable tannins in Maqué to enjoy.

It's fantastic value and great for BBQs!

NATURAL WINES BY PORTA DEL VENTO

Porta Del Vento (meaning "door of the wind") is a natural wine estate located high up in the Camporeale region of Sicily, near Palermo. Marco Sferlazzo, the winemaker, made a bold switch to winemaking in 2006 after spending over 20 years as a pharmacist. It’s hard to believe he wasn’t born into a winemaking family, though, given how exceptional his wines are.
While Marco’s range includes serious bottles like the ARCAI Anfora Rosso and Trebbi (made from Trebbiano), his more playful side shows through with the VORIA pet nats, which offer fantastic value and impress with their easy-drinking charm. Watch our video here
