Grapes and Vinification of Sextant Rully 1er Cru Blanc 2022
The grapes sourced here come from Domaine De Surremain at Château de Monthelie. Here 70-year-old Rully Premier Cru vines are located in the commune of Rully, on clay-limestone soil, facing southeast.

Who is Sextant in Burgundy?
Juilien Atlaber started working for Domain Derain, as legend Dominque Derain's right hand man. The two formed a strong friendship, and over the years Julien started to release his own Negoce wines under the name Sextant. Dominque Derain decided to retire, and Julien Altaber now runs the domaine with his wife and partner Carole Schwab. They run both Sextant and Domaine Derain from the same cellar in Saint-Aubin.
