Golden 2022

Golden 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Wine Artisans, in the Shida Kartli region in Georgia. This orange wine is made with 97% Chinuri grapes and one indemic grape variety so rare, we dont even know the name of it! It was discovered as a standalone vine tree in an old vineyard, presumably the lost variety called "Okroula" (translated as "golden").

A softly structured amber wine with expressive aromas. Expect delicate acidity, preserved citrus, orchard fruits, clean and crisp floral touches. An almost tropical yet lightly herbal edge provides a complex and interesting finish.  

100% skin contact in traditional qvevri, where the wine remains on the skins for 7 months. It then matures for 21 months in stainless steel before being bottled. Only 350 bottles were produced.

Needless to say, it is also of course natural wine. Fermented spontaneously by the wild yeasts, never filtered and manipulated, no sulphites were added.
