Nestled between the Danube River and the stunning Balaton Lake in Hungary, winemakers here enjoy fertile volcanic soils and a favorable continental climate.
The main grape varieties grown in Central Transdanubia include Furmint, Gamay, Zweigelt, Kékfrankos, and Riesling.
