We have not yet tried this 2019 vintage, but previous vintages are one of our favourite wines to have with steak. Aldo Viola really knows how to make a good Syrah!

NATURAL WINES BY ALDO VIOLA

Aldo Viola works near Alcamo in western Sicily, not far from Palermo, with yellow flowers and cover crops growing between the vines. His brother Alessandro makes wine on the other side of town on different soils, and the styles are very different. Aldo's wines are structured, raw and fairly classic. We love the Plus Syrah with a steak, and the Brutto pét-nat for something easier.
