Sfera Cavallo 2019 by Morasinsi is made in the hot Southern part of Italy, in Puglia with Aglianico grapes.

Production details of Sfera Cavallo: Sfera Cavallo is 100% Aglianico from Morasinsi in the Alta Murgia of Puglia, made by Sveva Sernia and Peter Geier. They follow a regenerative farming approach, harvest by hand and let the wine ferment naturally. The wine ages for 20 months in a mix of concrete, terracotta and oak before bottling.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Sfera Cavallo by Morasinsi, but we hear it has notes of smoky plum, dried cherry, black pepper, gamy meatiness and a touch of dark chocolate on the finish.
