Production details of Little Red Riding Wolf: Little Red Riding Wolf is a Pinot Noir from Jan Mathias Klein at Staffelter Hof in the Mosel Valley of Germany. The estate was founded in 862 AD, making it one of the oldest wineries in the world. The 9 hectares of vines on the very steep slopes are kept chemical-free. The wine sees zero added sulphur at any stage, ferments wild in very old large barrels and comes from two different plots. One brings full rounded character, the other brings brightness and elegance.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Little Red Riding Wolf by Staffelter Hof, but we hear it has notes of red cherry, blackberry, light spice and a fresh feral lift.
