Zahia Rosato 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Midia, in the Sicily region in Italy. This rose wine is made with Frappatto grapes, which is a native varietal to Sicily usually grown in the Vittoria region. Expect a lower acidity Rosé from this hotter climate region

Production details of Zahia Rosato: Zahia Rosato is made by Midia in Sicily, using Frappato, a rare native varietal usually grown in the Vittoria region. Expect a lower-acidity rosé from this hotter climate. Frappato is light and fragrant, with under 2,000 acres worldwide and nearly entirely on Sicily. Wild ferment with minimal intervention.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Zahia Rosato by Midia, but we hear it has notes of red cherry, strawberry, light spice and a soft Sicilian warmth.
