Cremant du Jura 2022 SPECIAL (our name special not official, to differentiate between the two) by Touraize is a natural wine made in Arbois, Jura with a co-ferment of 70% Chardonnay & 30% Savagnin grapes, which was aged for one year in old wooden barrels before seeing 21 months of aging after secondary fermentation to create the sparkling aspect.

This new SPECIAL 2022 vintage with a different label has spent longer on the lees before disgorgement than the other one with original label. We adore it!

We enjoyed vibrant notes of pear, white flowers, lemon sherbert, green banana, ripened green apple, pear tarte all accompanied by a wonderful, soft mousse.

Domaine de la Touraize is a natural winery based in Arbois, the heart of France’s Jura region. There, Héléana and André-Jean Morin make wines solely from their own estate-grown fruit. They work with all the classic Jura grapes - Poulsard, Trousseau, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Savagnin - crafting wines with elegance and finesse.
From their light and juicy "La Cabane" Poulsard (named after a little cabin by the vineyards) to beautifully rounded whites and their standout Crémant du Jura, Touraize wines have a refined character while still offering great value for Jura natural wines.
