Saperavi 2024 (OFF DRY)

Saperavi 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Gelovani Cellar, in the Kakheti region in Georgia. This off dry/ semi-sweet red wine is made with the local Saperavi grapes, which spend 6 days in contact with the skins. Expect dark forest fruit - blackberry, black cherry and elderberry - layered with ripe plum and a subtle floral lift reminiscent of violets. A long finish and hints of earth add further complexity.

Grown in the warm hills of Tibaani in Kakheti, this Saperavi reflects both the intensity of the grape and the character of the region. The wine is crafted in a natural, expressive style, allowing the fruit to ferment with a small amount of residual sugar that gives the wine its gently off-dry balance. The result is a powerful yet harmonious expression of Saperavi, combining depth, structure and approachability.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and generous, with rounded tannins that give structure without overpowering the fruit. Bright acidity keeps the wine lively and balances the touch of natural sweetness.
