Tasting Notes for Herr Gewurtz 2023 by Krásná Hora

Expect a perfumed nose featuring rose petals, lychee, orange peel, and subtle spicy hints. The palate is dry, full-flavoured, and juicy, echoing floral and tropical fruits like lychee, grapefruit, and crisp pear, all underscored by lively acidity. It finishes clean and mineral, with a very mild tannic grip and a mouth-watering, refreshing finish that leans towards freshness rather than weight. Superb value!

Production Process of Herr Gewurtz 2023 Natural Wine by Krásná Hora

The natural wine Herr Gewurtz 2023 from the producer Krásná Hora is made from 100% Gewürztraminer (Tramín červený) and is fermented in stainless steel tanks, with open vessels used during the approximately one month of skin-contact maceration. After fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for about three months.
