Located in the Bio Bio Valley of Chile, the Yumbel Estación vines are old.. up to 200 years old! Therefore, the Pais wines of Yumbel Estación are great value, and not easy to find coming from Chile! Pipeño is the traditional wine of the Chilean campesinos, the rural population. Often Pipeños can be quite rustic wines, but these ones is fresh and elegant. The actual fermentation then takes place in the open-topped barrels made from Chilean Raulí wood, which are traditionally used for the production of Pipeño.
