Macchiona 2016 by La Stoppa is a natural wine made in Emilia-Romagna with Barbera and Bonarda grapes.

La Stoppa is an iconic estate in Emilia Romagna, worked by Elena Pantaleoni, as well as her partner Guilio Armani who operates Denavolo wines.

Give it a quick decant, not too long and pour in big glasses. Sediment may be thick at bottom of the bottle, so pour carefully.

2010 vintage notes: Wonderful aged wine with fantastic depth and beauty. Tannins have mellowed to soft delights and you’ll enjoy classic aged Barbera qualities. Excellent value aged wine.
