With such grapes like Grenache, Syrah and Muscat alongside the climate - the Domaine de l'Horizon wines make for excellent choices to age, which they will do gracefully and this will help to round of the tannic structure.
Calce, Languedoc-Roussillon,
This region is truly the south of France, so much so it really is as close to Spain you can get. This is why Domaine de l'Horizon (and nearby Matassa) have grapes such as Macabeo, which you would usually only see in Spain. But the Pyrenees is split between France and Spain, and at times would have belonged to different parties. Grapes are naturally passed on, and this is why some typically-Spanish grapes would be found here
