Beaujolais Nouveau 2022 by natural wine icon Jean Foillard is made in Beaujolais with 100% Gamay grapes, which undergo carbonic maceration as is the normal process with Nouveau wines, as this is the fastest method and brings out the fruit, with minimal tannins.

Located in southwest France, Beaujolais is known for its focus on one grape variety—Gamay—making up 98% of the region's vineyards. The other 2% is mostly Chardonnay.
