Production details of Pet Nat Scheurebe: Pet Nat Scheurebe is made by Andi Weigand at Weingut Weigand. Andi took over winemaking from his dad in 2015 and converted to natural in 2018, working hand-picked fruit with no added sulphur. The wine ferments and is bottled while still finishing fermentation, completing as a pet-nat in bottle.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Pet Nat Scheurebe by Andi Weigand, but we hear it has notes of juicy stone fruit, green apple, fine bubbles and a lively drinkable character.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

PET NAT WINE | WHAT IS A PET NAT?

Pét Nat, short for "Pétillant Naturel," is a type of sparkling wine that finishes fermenting right in the bottle, making the bubbles naturally there without needing any interference. Made using the Ancestral Method (also known as “Col Fondo”), these wines are typically lively, fresh, a little yeasty, and packed with just the right amount of fizz.
