Tasting Notes for Krásná Hora Sauvignon Blanc Barrel 2021

Expect a bright golden-yellow color with just mild aromas of tropical fruit (unlike many other Sauvignon Blancs) as well as subtle nutty nuances, vanilla hints and gentle herbal hints resting on a mineral backbone.

The palate is full-bodied, creamy and concentrated from ageing in French oak on the lees, balanced by fresh acidity that keeps the finish lively and clean. We think it's really awesome, and different to what you might expect from the grape.
