Blanc de Blancs Sekt

Blanc de Blancs is a natural wine crafted by Schödl, in the Weinviertel region in Austria. This sparkling wine is made in the traditional method, with Chardonnay and Weissburgunder  grapes thus making it a Blanc de Blancs (white from white grapes).

Expect a refined, classic style Austrian Sekt similar to a Cremant in mouthfeel and bubble structure in this Schödl Blanc de Blancs. Nice baked apple touches mingle with vanilla, brioche touches. This is a solid Austrian Sekt! We recommend serving in white wine glasses rather than champagne flutes to allow more aroma and expression.

The Schödl family actually are well known in the region for their traditional sparkling wines, and have been making them for many years before their children took over the domaine to focus more on still, natural wines. However, they wanted to keep an element of their family tradition and so this is why their more classic style Sekt is on offer too!
