Tasting 4some by Roca Viva

This introduction into the world of Roca Viva with 4some really is not an entry level wine, despite being more fresh and fun than their more serious wines, but daaaaamn is it good! It's a blend of both red and white grapes, and the grapes are used from each of their trusted growers in the area, so this is why the name is 4 Some.

Expect mineralic hits for a red, with an almost iron like quality popping besides black cherries, dark chocolate, smoke and soft vegetal touches and a tingly tannic mouthfeel. A VERY cool wine at a great pricepoint!

After separating the juice from the skins fermentation finished in stainless steel tanks.

Tempranillo: Harvested in mid-September, destemmed, crushed and macerated for a week. Fermentation finished in stainless steel tanks.

Palomino: Harvested in mid August. The grapes are selected, destemmed and gently pressed with a vertical hand press. The must fermented in stainless steel tanks. In February 2022 the wine was blended and transferred to a stainless steel tank.
