Nobody's Fault But Wine 2023 MAGNUM is a natural wine crafted by Cave Aux Fioles, in the Roussillon region in France. This big format 1.5litre orange wine is made with  80% Grenache Blanc and 20% Macabeu grapes. The Grenache Blanc is destemmed, while the Macabeu is kept as whole bunches; both undergo around one week of maceration before being pressed manually in a vertical wooden press. Bottled in April, without filtration or added inputs.

Expect some tangy touches alongside mildly grippy tannins, tangerine and cooked apricots

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

La Cave Aux Foiles

La Cave aux Fioles is Carlos Badia's wine project in Roussillon, in the Catalan Corbières near Perpignan. Carlos came to wine production after around thirty years in the wine world, with experience spanning Sommelier duties, marketing and international trade. That long background eventually led him towards making wine himself.

By 2016 Carlos was experimenting on a small scale, and the domaine has since grown to around ten hectares, including many old vines on clay and limestone soils. Carlos works with a broad collection of Mediterranean grapes: Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Grenache Noir, Macabeu, Muscat, Carignan, Lledoner Pelut, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Malvoisie all appear. Since 2022 no additions of SO2 have been used in the cellar (from our knowledge)
