Didier Grappe makes his Traminer wine in the small village of Saint-Lothain in the Jura, which does not have an designated appelation in Jura like Arbois. For those unaware, Traminer is technically Savagnin, but Didier is not allowed to call it Savagnin as this is classified as a Vin de France, and Savagnin is a protected term only for Jura appellations which this wine does not classify as, as too different to be a Cotes du Jura.

This Didier Grape wine is super fresh and great value. Lemon rind, green apple and white pepper spice shine alongside direct acidity and an easy drinking mouthfeel.
