Traminer Longefin is a natural wine crafted by Didier Grappe, in the Jura region in France. This white wine is made with Savagnin grapes, which is technically the grape Traminer, but he is not allowed to call it Savagnin on a Vin De France label, and it does not qualify for Cotes du Jura appellation as too natural in style.

This wine sees no added sulphur as with all Didier Grappe wines.

What is the Traminer grape?

Traminer is technically Savagnin, but Didier is not allowed to call it Savagnin as this is classified as a Vin de France, and Savagnin is a protected term only for Jura appellations which this wine does not classify as, as too different to be a Cotes du Jura.

This Didier Grape Savagnin/Traminer wine is super fresh and great value. Lemon rind, green apple and white pepper spice shine alongside direct acidity and an easy drinking mouthfeel.
