Savagnin Les Ecrins 2016 by Domaine de la Borde is a white wine made in the small village of Pupillin in Jura with 100% Savagnin grapes, which were grown on both blue and grey marl soils. Aged for 12 months in old oak barrels, which here were aged sous voile, so with an oxidative touch..

Domaine de la Borde is a standout winemaker of Jura wines, located in the village of Pupillin, where Julien Maréschal crafts wines that truly reflect the region’s unique terroir. Known for his meticulous approach, Julien has carved out a reputation for producing wines that highlight the raw, mineral qualities of the land, aligning with the traditions of other top Jura producers.
A skilled jazz musician as well (you can catch him in our documentary!), Julien’s commitment to his craft shines through in every bottle.
