Hurry… almost sold out!

Gevrey Chambertin 'En Vosne' 2021 is a red wine by Domaine Derain, which is made with old vine Pinot Noir grapes grown on clay-silt and limestone soils. The grapes are partially destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts for 3 weeks. It is then aged in oak and on the lees for 24 months prior to bottling.

We have yet to taste this vintage but hear it has a beautiful nose of ripe black cherries, raspberries and distinctive earthiness, with a palate that structured yet refined with a lingering finish!

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

Sextant & Domain Derain

Julien Atlaber started working for Burgundy estate Domain Derain, as legend Dominque Derain's right hand man. The two formed a strong friendship, and over the years Julien started to release his own Negoce wines under the name Sextant. Dominque Derain decided to retire, and Julien Altaber now runs the domaine with his wife and partner Carole Schwab. They run both Sextant and Domaine Derain from the same cellar in Saint-Aubin, working with typical Burgundy grapes such as Pinot Noir, Chadonnay and Aligote
