Trebbiano is one of the two flagship white wines of iconic Abruzzo master, Emidio Pepe. Pecorino is the other, newer addition to the Pepe family.

Having worked 55 harvests, Emidio Pepe is most well known for his vision of the aging potential for Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano. With respect to this, the family has a truly massive cellar of back vintages, which are released every now and then.

These BIG wines are meant for aging, and the older they are, generally the higher in price they get as their ideal drinking period is more suitable.

Armed with an incredible ability to age (which is strongly recommended), this white wine will be rich, rounded and opulent. This wine is foot-crushed and fermented in concrete before moving to barrel.
