Ull De Llebre 2024 is a natural wine crafted by La Rural, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This red wine is made with Ull De Llebre grapes, otherwise known as Tempranillo. There is also a cheeky little 10% of Grenache slipped into the blend here to add a little soft spice.

Expect pops of dark cherrys, liquorice, blackcurrants, black olive and mild violets blackcurrant, dark cherry, liquorice, black olive and subtle violet notes, with a savoury finish.

This La Rural wine is made from 90% Ull de Llebre  (Tempranillo) and 10% Grenache from 36-year-old vines in Santes Creus, planted at around 408 metres altitude on limestone and clay soils. The grapes are destemmed and macerated on the skins for 2 days in stainless steel.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

La Rural

La RuraL began in 2018 in Santes Creus, Tarragona, when brothers Andreu and Xavi Padró returned to the vineyards their family had cultivated for four generations. Although grape growing had long been part of their family history, the grapes had always been sold rather than transformed into wine under their own label.
Inspired by Catalunya’s natural wine scene, the brothers decided to change direction. Andreu left his work as a mechanic, while Xavi stepped away from architecture, and together they began producing wine from the land they had grown up around. Most of the wines are made in stainless-steel tanks, with a few cuvées also spending time in
barrels. No additives or sulphur are used. ´
