Planals is a easy drinking, natural wine crafted by Tom Lubbe of Matassa, in the southern and hot Roussillon region in France. This red wine is actually made with a mix of red and white grapes: 50% Grenache Gris and then a blend of Muscat of Alexandria, Macabeu and Grenache for the remaining half

This mix usually gives an animating lift and special sort of mouthfeel and body to wines, and here with this Matassa wine Planals we have not yet tried, we hear it has a spicy touch combined with scrumptious bursts of forest fruits and vibrant berries!

NATURAL WINES BY MATASSA

Domaine Matassa is the natural wine estate of Tom Lubbe, who is based in Roussillon, at the Southern tip of France close to Spain. Matassa is one of the most in-demand wineries in the natural wine scene, which stems largely from their approachable drinkability and high quality expressions of local grapes in their vineyards.
