XL 2021 is a natural wine crafted by Partida Creus, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This white wine is made with Xarel lo grapes, hence the name. Xarel-lo is a common grape in the region, often used as part of a blend for Cava production. When made into a still wine, it can really shine in the right hands, like here with Antonella and Massimo.

This 2021 vintage of XL is super bright with a lovely little sharp reduction yet remains citrus-fresh and with a lovely salty touch to it. It's got a refreshing, thin mouthfeel with a green apple and melon finish. Excellent wine from Partida Creus, and just 10.5% too!
