Pinot Blanc 2023

Pinot Blanc 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Raspini Winery, in the Baden region in Germany. This flagship white wine is made with Pinot Blanc grapes, which are grown on Volcanic soils.

The Kaiserstuhl is a small, low mountain range of hills rising out of the Upper Rhine Plain that was formed by a stratovolcano roughly 16 million years ago, of which the Raspini vines are grown.

The grapes of this flagship Pinot Blanc come from a single parcel on the Ihringen Fohrenberg. Volcanic soil with a fine limestone component. This combination shapes the structure of the wine more than individual decisions in the cellar.Harvest focuses on acidity and freshness. After harvest, the grapes are gently crushed in open wooden vats. Three days of skin contact with skins and stems, followed by gentle pressing. Spontaneous fermentation without additions. Ageing for ten months in used barriques with minimal lees contact.
