Waiting for Tom Rosé is a natural wine crafted by Rennersistas, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This rose wine is made with Zweigelt grapes.
Production details of Waiting for Tom Rosé: Waiting for Tom Rosé is a sister wine to the Rennersistas red Waiting for Tom, made by Stefanie and Georg Renner in Gols, Burgenland. The name nods to Tom Lubbe of Matassa and Tom Shobrook, who mentored the siblings in low-intervention winemaking. The cuvée is around 70% Zweigelt and 30% Blaufränkisch.
Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Waiting for Tom Rosé by Rennersistas, but we hear it has notes of strawberry, redcurrant, citrus and a fresh herbal lift.
