Rosso 2018 is a natural wine crafted by Vino del Poggio, in the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. This red wine is made with Barbera grapes, and features a strong Volatile approach, so be sure you like this before buying.

Production details of Rosso 2018: Rosso 2018 is 100% Barbera from Vino del Poggio in the Val Trebbia hills of Emilia-Romagna, made by Andrea Cervini. The young vines are rooted in clay and limestone soils. The wine ferments in steel with long maceration on skins to extract structure, then ages a year in large neutral oak and a year in bottle before release. No added sulphur.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Rosso 2018 by Vino del Poggio, but we hear it has notes of violet, kirsch, blackberry, black pepper and sweet tobacco.
