Aubunite 2023 Rouge is a natural wine crafted by La Sorga, in the Languedoc region in France. This red wine is made with Aubun, Carignan and Aramon grapes, and is made as a PET NAT sparkling wine....at just 10.5% alcohol too!

  • Grape varieties: Aubun 80%, Carignan and Aramon 20%; yield: 17 hl/ha.

  • Terroir: Calcareous sand in Carcassonne, Vin de France.

  • Vinification: Grapes are hand-sorted cluster by cluster at the cellar; the less ripe ones are directly pressed, and the rest are macerated in the juice for 23 days, partially destemmed by hand with a portion of whole clusters (in sandstone jar); very gentle vertical pressing; aged in tank for 7 months.

  • Winemaker's Tasting Notes: A kind of southern Pineau d’Aunis — peppery and spicy nose, yet still fruity (blueberry), with a vegetal thread of fern and humus... The palate is ultra-refreshing (10.5% ABV), lively and fruity, complex, with a finish of dark fruits and garrigue — dense and promising good aging potential...

  • No added sulfur, no filtration, and nothing else either...

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
