Feral are a group of botanists, fermentation experts and chefs working out of the Italian Dolomites, making alcohol free alternatives by fermenting and macerating beets, herbs, spices and wild fruit instead of grapes.

No. 1 White puts fermented white beetroot together with hops and Szechuan pepper. It is still rather than sparkling, and the makers describe it as richly fragrant, with pronounced citrus notes, a tickling spiciness and a velvety texture. Worth knowing about if you want something with real flavour and no alcohol in it.
