E´ Rosato (1 Liter) by Poderi Cellario is a natural wine made in Piedmont with Nebbiolo and Dolcetto grapes.

Poderi Cellario state this is a Rosé wine produced from the bloodletting of two important vineyards. It remains on the skins for about a day, allowing it to ferment with its own yeasts. This wine is aged in cement vats; it is unclarified and unfiltered.
On the nose, it releases red fruits and spices; the palate is fresh with a lovely tannin finish.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

Poderi Cellario

NATURAL WINES BY PODERI CELLARIO

Poderi Cellario is in Carrù, on the western edge of the Langhe in Piedmont, Italy. Fausto and Cinzia Cellario are the third generation here and the first to bottle and export the wine under the family name. They farm around 30 hectares over five sites in the southern Langhe. The focus is local Piedmont grapes such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Nascetta and Moscato.

Fermentations run on native yeasts, and wines like É Rosato and É Orange are aged in concrete, with some amphora for É Orange. Sulphur only goes in at bottling, in small amounts and only when needed. Many wines come in one-litre bottles, a democratic gesture, as they put it. We stock É Rosso, a Barbera, É Rosato from Nebbiolo and Dolcetto, and É Bianco from Arneis and Moscato. É Orange and the Il Baffone frizzante are popular too.
