Hautes Côtes de Nuits 2020 is a natural wine crafted by La Maison Romane, in the Burgundy region in France. This red wine is made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes, crafted by Oronce de Beler of the domaine who is based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, and who buys grapes as a Négociant from talented Vignerons nearby.

In the winery, only a few interventions are performed with the punching down done only in the final phase, without added sulfur, or with very low doses.

The ageing of the wines last 12 months in old oak barrels. From the beginning, the wines of La Maison Romane were not fined, not filtered, and are manually bottled. All the vintages are waxed closed. 

This Hautes Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir comes specifically from Villars-Fontaine, grown on clay & limestone soils.
