Malvasia
Malvasia is not one grape, but a family of ancient grape varieties which are grown all over the wine producing world (Europe, the USA, Australia, and South America!). Characterised by floral, tropical fruit, and Asian spice flavours, Malvasia grapes are typically light and crisp with mild tannins and low acidity. They're also incredibly versatile and are used for blending, but also in varietal wines including sparkling. They work especially well as Orange Wines.
This collections features all the Malvasia on the natural wine shop, including Malvasia di Candia Aromatica often found in Emilia-Romagna and used by La Stoppa, Denavolo and Croci
