Skerk Wines | Wine from Friuli

Father and son Boris & Sandi Skerk are behind natural wine producer Skerk - located in the Friuli wine region of Italy near the Slovenian border. There the yield is very small and often involves skin contact with indigenous white grape varieties such as Terrano, Malvasia, and Vitovska to make Orange Wines. Skerk wines are known for being characterful with plenty of depth and richness - part of this is because oak is used for fermentation and ageing, softening the wines and adding creaminess to the texture.
