In regards to natural wine, Spanish wine is renowned throughout the world for its rich and diverse flavors, and one region that stands out in the natural wine movement is Catalonia, where more and more chemical-free winemakers have turned to natural winemaking.
Popular natural winemakers in the whole of Spain include Partida Creus, MicroBioWines, Escoda-Sanahuja, Mendall, Vinos Ambiz, Cati Ribot and Clos Lentiscus, who not only produce known grapes like Xarel-lo and Grenache, but revitalise forgotten grape varietals like Giro Ros and Cartoixà Vermell.
