Cerasa Rosso 2020 is a red natural wine crafted by Francesco Guccione, in the Sicily region in Italy. This red wine is made with both 50% Nerello Mascalese and 50% Perricone, and comes with sandy tannins and 13.5% alcohol weight.

Will drink beautifully in 2-3 years, but still food ready now with a flavour profile similar to a SMOKEY Black Forest Gateau - think dark chocolate, black cherries and cream with a plummy finish. Yum, but even better if you wait a while..

NATURAL WINES BY FRANCESCO GUCCIONE

Francesco Guccione is a natural winemaker from Sicily’s Monreale region, crafting soulful, expressive wines from local grapes like Trebbiano, Perricone, Nerello Mascalese, and Catarratto. While his family once farmed for the local cooperatives, Francesco chose a different path—creating his own wines, with a deep respect for the land and a hands-off approach in the cellar.
Patience is key in his winemaking. He often holds back vintages until they’ve had years to evolve, like the P16 Perricone, aged for six years in 3,000L oak barrels, or the T14 Trebbiano, which spent eight years maturing before release. His wines balance grace, elegance, and power, with incredible aging potential. For us, these are some of the finest natural wines coming out of Sicily. Watch our video documentary here
